I think i missed something here - is there a map showing the "100% path"
across the US? If so, will someone please repose the URL?

Someone reports that the 8-21-2017 eclipse will be 99.9% complete at Mt. Taum Sauk.

I think it worth checking how far one has to go towards totality to get to totality. Is it a few hundred meters?

I recall reading years ago about some researcher who recruited graduate assistants to record an eclipse at the margins, in order to accurately measure the width of totality and the effects at the margin.

Thanks for the link. Looks like Ken Oeser will have 2:30 minutes at his house :)
Bald Knob in Illinois will have 2:36 of Totality
