The problem is Dennis Tito paid $20 million dollars to visit the International Space Station (ISS). The six space tourists that followed Dennis paid anywhere from $20 million to $40 million dollars apiece to visit the ISS.

Today's going rate to visit the ISS is $52 million dollars, way out of range except for the exceptionally wealthy. Cost of travel to the moon is in excess of $150 million.

Bob Richards, CEO of Moon Express claims he can bring the cost of travel to the Moon down to $10,000 or less which could make travel to the Moon affordable for a physically fit financially comfortable individual.

One other point about this not being highpointing, I must respectfully disagree with you David is that visiting the ISS is the ultimate achievement for a highpointer. The ISS orbits the Earth at a "height" of 205 mph to 255 mph above the Earth. That is way, way higher than the summit of lowly Everest 29,035 feet (approximately) 7 miles.

Of course, others may argue there is no up and down in space, so in other words highpointing would only apply to celestial bodies such as the Earth, the Moon, Mars, Jupiter; etc where you do have a point of reference from the central core of that object that is determined by gravity. So once we leave Earth we may be measuring in distance from the Earth rather than the height above the Earth.

Now, as highpointers we are permitted under the "Rules" to use any means necessary to reach our objective. If we can reach the top of Denali or Everest by helicopter and tag the summit by even only momentarily tagging the summit with the soles of our boots we can claim that highpoint. There is no requirement that ewe have to physically hike to the top of Everest to claim it.

Now if you were a peakbagger then you'd be under a different set of requirements which would require you to physically ascend and descend the peak under your own power, though some would argue that an infant carried by their parents or an infant not yet born carried by his or her mother would qualify.

Getting back to the ISS or a trip to the Moon that would be the ultimate "drive up" or should I say "fly up".
