Maybe Spooky has done some research on these.

This past year I did one of the ten candidateareas (Metz Gap) which I believe is the highest, but I need to visit the othersto claim credit. I'd like to attend the KY Derby in 2017 (in field SRO) andthen do the Memphis & Louisville city HPs. We can coordinate if you'd like.

- - - - As for Nashville, it is the Davidson cohp. I didit on the hottest & humidest day of the year. Gross weather but a fun walkin the woods. I can provide map and route if you'd like.

- - - - Yes. Confusing neighborhood. I can provide you myfield notes if you'd like. This city is subject to "annexation expansionhighpoint change." Greg S. has coined some useful terms for the certaintyof city HPs which I've adopted myself. Try this map link and use the satelliteimage:

Whatever field notes you'd care to share for Columbus would be great!
It can't be understated the appreciation we all share to you and the rest of the folks who take their time to pour over maps to search for high points of interest that our shameless addiction makes us go to!

If you type in a city name to Google maps you get an outline.
Columbus looks nasty:

Importing this boundary into Cal Topo would be handy -
not sure how to do that ...

What a horrible mess around Columbus. I knew I didn't like this city, this just added another reason....

I saw it on Google Earth, you will get a major hradache figuring out what is or isn't in the city limits in most places there

andy: i posted a tutorial for loading city boundaries into caltopo back in
april... i'll repaste it below.

with something as nasty looking as columbus the caltopo issue with the
innerboundary tag will be a real problem... not sure this approach will
work that well.

Metro Nashville consists of the entirety of Davidson County, Tennessee. This will not change.

Most every square inch of Davidson County is coterminous with the Nashville city limits with a couple of exceptions, so it will depend on where the spot near Radnor Lake is situated.
