I never even knew this was a category on the cohp page, so I'm not sure how it originally worked. But there might be a quick fix for getting the same information. I have always measured distance on the statewide google maps. You can find links to those on every state page (states with lots of counties you need to select down to their secondary page to see it). When the google map comes up with the stickpin cohp candidate points, you can measure distances by left clicking.

I got the distance calculator to work on both Safari and Firefox (using a Mac), but had to enter security exceptions for Jave in order to get the calculator to run. Have no idea what the process would be on a PC.

One can mark locations on Acme Mapper and get a distance reading between the marked points, both in miles/feet and kilometers/meters.
