Does anyone know what the highest unnamed peak is (with sufficient prominence)? I know that K2 was never really named, but I was thinking more of a peak that still would have to go by Unnamed XX,XXX'.

There may be a corner in some unpopulated region of Asia, Greenland or Antarctica. ... Such claims are always under assault.

The best bet might be in the big Alaskan (maybe Canadian too) wilderness parks, where the government authorities have decided that they won't name any more peaks there anymore.
-- Now if we can only persuade them to 'unmap&#39; those areas as well...
