Question about Big Horn, WA.

Question for those that have stood on top of Big Horn, in Washington = Is it better to climb it with some snow earlier in the season or when it's dry later on?

Jobe,

I can't speak for the snowy option because I climbed it in September. Greg
Slayden may have something to say about the snowy option.

My take on it is that I wouldn't want snow on the rock climbing section.

route

snow it will be steep and possibly not very deep, but the loose rocks should
be minimized. When there's no snow there are lots of loose rocks to knock
loose on anyone below you. I can tell you that they can whiz by your ear in
a big hurry. So pick your poison.

Cheers!

Bob
