###How about New Mexico with 14?

Good one. I'd overlooked that because Missy Rigg and
Scott Holtzhauser live in NM. However they can't
get permission for Animas.

Mark Nichols lives in Benson AZ.

AZ and CO each have 4 NM completers, and can each claim
1/2 of Bob Martin, giving a 4.5 to 4.5 tie.

### What about Delaware, with approx. 17 completers?

Don't know where most of those folks live - roster is below.

>>BTW - you have to combine COHP.org
>>records with PB records, and look at LOJ too, to be sure.

In Fred we trust.

Roster is at:

Thank you for your trust, Andy. (I think.) However, I'm not about to start tracking down the home state of all the completers of any state's county HP completers. If any one else wants to undertake this
chore . . .

Fred

That would be quite the task. Also, the list would be a bit amorphous in that people often move. I don't live in Iowa but I used to for a few years. I also have lived on its border all of my life and work in that state.

Would I have qualified for native if I lived there when I completed it and was removed from consideration if I moved? (I wasn't living there when I completed it but this is just a scenario where the definition of native is vague when considering the question we're trying to answer).

Re. State Completers - non-native

Dave Covill wrote "Still wondering if anyone can come up with a state where ALL Completers are native to that state, with more than 2."

Since we can presume that eventually every state will be completed by some foreigner, a foreigner, instead ask the questions:
1) Which state has the most native completers since first-finish before a foreigner completed it?
2) Which state has the longest run of consecutive native completers?

Mount Adams - West Slope.

Alright County Highpointers - time to see who's interested in a short notice attempt on the highest point in Skamania County, WA, which is a "liner" on the west slope of Mt Adams.

I just mentioned "short notice" - what I mean by that is either July 1st, 2nd or 4th. There's not many of us that serious about this hobby where this elusive line ever becomes part of the process so I'm reaching out to this eGroup for any takers. I mean, everybody who is part of this eGroup is serious about the hobby or you wouldn't be in the CoHP eGroup, right? Right.....

As far as the motorized approach, all looks good. I've called the forest service and the roads are all clear/open to the starting point I plan on using which is marked by Slayden's GPS track on Peakbagger.com. Snow may be a little soft due to our recent warming trend so a early start is needed.

Drop me a direct line at thehasbeen at yahoo dot com if you're interested.

This is Ken of Renton, WA. *July 4 *may likely be the best day to do it,
for me, as this is the one day I could do it with an early start. I've
ascended Mount Adams on the "full ascent" to the summit via the south slope
on Sept. 21, 2014.
