William Letts Oliver

 

 William Oliver was one of the founders of the California Cap Company. Many photos taken by William and his son Roland are online .  Some of my favorites from this Bancroft Library collection are below.

These four tins predate the San Francisco earthquake. The Lion tin at top is very rare.
