From the stop sign in downtown Sutton, cross the bridge over the river and bear right onto Old Turnpike Road,
and follow this 9.5 miles to Crites Mountain Road on the left. The mileage to the road crest is 4.1 miles,
where a gravel road also goes right. About 0.2 mile past this, the road Ts into another road,
shown on the topo. There is some posted land around the highpoint, but not the area that leads to the highpoint.
As Mike Schwartz says, there are two bumps, and the second has the benchmark. The first bump at least
seems as high as the BM.
