Hampshire County Highpoint Trip Report

Mike Schwartz’s report is still valid. Grassy Lick Road (CR 10) is pretty
narrow and I was traveling slowly in order to turn into the Wildlife Management
Area when I noticed a pick-up on my tail. I pulled over as much as possible to
let them pass. It turns out it was a couple of rednecks with a bit too much
moonshine and reamed us out with longshoremen' s language for driving so slow.
Before we left on this trip, Mike was aware that we were leaving and in e-mail
told us that the people of WVA were the most friendly people we would meet.
After only two CoHPs completed, we weren't too sure and thought that I should
have been packing a snubnose. I must say that after the two episodes everything
changed and we agreed wholeheartedly with Mike on the friendly folks of WVA.
