Morgan County Highpoint Trip Report

The existing reports got me to the park fine and I can add the following.
There are full services along US 522 from I-70 south to the park. The lodge at the
park is clean and open until 11 pm and I grabbed the last room the night I was there.
The gate across the summit road closes at sunset and opens around 6:30 am.
I found a groundskeeper at 6:15 am who is in charge of the gate.
The summit cairn and jutting rocks were easy to spot, even with full June foliage.
EMC fanatics should note that a drive to the summit gives you Frederick VA and
if you walk south from highpoint BM Ridge, you'll get Hampshire WV.
