Weston County High Point Trip Report

We journeyed north Saturday evening from the Denver area to Newcastle WY.
First thing in the morning after breakfast we headed for the HP of Weston county, WY.
The weather was great, and very little snow was in evidence, until we got to within
2 miles of the Trailhead and turned onto a gravel road. Boom! Lot's of snow,
left the 4WD a mile from where we wanted to be, and walked.
The HP is down a fence line a half-mile or so south from Forest Road 809,
and so it was about a 2-3 mile walk round trip. Nice little shoulder of a small ridge,
crossing into Wyoming, woods, no view. I stuck a nickel into the fence post.
