An ascent of Mount Stimson by Bob Bolton,
Duane Gilliland, Greg Slayden, Edward Earl, and Adam Helman in August 2008
is documented below by links to Greg Slayden's photo album and original report.

The route was a novel, eastern approach beginning at Two Medicine Lake; ultimately climbing
the southeast ridge after gaining the Mount Stimson / Mount Pinchot saddle.

The expedition consumed five days due to the large distances (over 40 miles),
total elevation gain (about 13,000 feet), and slow bushwhacking.
